Hi there, At a local scrap yard, i have a grasp on two 1980s monte carlo ss'. Both are later 80s style, but i was wondering about rearends. They should have posi, but what are the standard gear ratio in the ss diff? Is it 3:42s? If so, does anyone know what type of price is good on the diffs...

Hi guys, I am looking at buying a project car. It is a tubbed el camino roller, it has a 6 point cage and a tub in the rear frame. Is there goods and bads to the tubbed elkys? Is there some things i should look into when i go and see the car?
