What did you do to your g-body today 2025 Edition!

The thing I always remember was Rafiki's chuckle/laugh. And that he WACKS Simba over the head and when asked why, "It doesnt matter, its in the past" hahaha.

    ‘25 season

My car is more apart at the beginning of the season this year than beginning of season last year... Its saddening. But, picked up the final piece today, crackshaft acquired, can now proceed forward again. Dont blow up engines, then attempt to refresh the car, overbuild an engine, and have a...

What did you do to your g-body today 2025 Edition!

Mocked up my new view.... im gonna be honest, im not a fan. I hope it grows on me but I enjoy the Hurst gauges I removed. I may remote mount this somewhere else and put my Hursts back once I get the swap driving and reliable.

BUILD THREAD The never ending 383

Harland Sharp roller rockers havent let me down yet. If you go that route, make sure you buy the handy tool for adjusting lash, wrench and allen built into one tool, makes it a little simpler, but doable without it.

What did you buy for your G-body today? [2024]

I searched for 5+ years for a center console, eventually I conceded that I wasnt gonna find one.. Actually bought a monte console to fit into the Cutlass but the shape never matched the Cutlass dash very well. Found one on FB marketplace, factory black console. Asking $100, got it for $60 and...

What did you do to your G-Body today 2024

Nice! I'm probably gonna regret not having a radio some day, but if I want it back, its a pretty simple install to put on back.

What did you do to your G-Body today 2024

After 3 years finally got around to installing a new steering shaft. Took me blowing up a motor, prepping for a healthy LS swap, and about 10 minutes.... I should have done it years ago. Oh well, done now.

Is there a mount that will allow the transmission to remain in the original location?

Any chance you could take a picture? I'm trying to figure out where the factory clamshells went in the frame, mine were previously moved but I'm not sure how far off from original (or even why).

Did you name your car ?

Mine is also named Betty White She is wrapped in white vinyl So she is old, white, and wrinkly, thus very similar to Betty White. Side note - I did not name cars until I met my wife.. she names all her cars. She has a 2014 Jeep Cherokee (little Cherokee, not Grand) and she named it Jasper...

    electric tools

Bumping an old thread to offer some info, Trim carpenter by trade I am a Milwaukee fan, I have probably a dozen tools. I've been the most pleased with the compact router, the gen 2 18ga nailer and gen 2 15ga nailer. It's amazing to be able to not haul a compressor around to jobs to power...

OLDS Sometimes when the wife goes shopping

I used to go as far as cutting open the doors, hoods and trunks, building hinges so that everything could open. Then use velour fibers to give interiors the appearance of real fabric. Painted them the craziest colors. The craziest thing I did was I messed up a John Force funny car, and out of...

OLDS Sometimes when the wife goes shopping

I can always go buy more. I asked if these were all they had or if they had more, she said there was at least 2 more at that time. I'm going to build at least 1. The other may stay packed away or build it later.
