ADVICE NEEDED FOR NEW ENGINE
Jan 1 2025.... san antonio did away with state inpections, i have no idea what the angle is unless its about money(revenue), which it always seems to be. Maybe soon they'll start tail pipe sniffing everyone in the inspection's place, if so, i know for sure my malibu wont pass, ZZ4 engine, 1...- Ernest

First Time Header Removal
The headers are old... no point wasting ceramic on them, i'll buy new a set of headers whenever a new engine goes in. Simple strip, prep and use high temp black paint will suffice... what i really need are 1 3/4" headers to seal the "D" exhaust ports on the ZZ4 113 heads more efficiently. -
