Bought this a while back, hand the bronze gear on it, trying to swap it back to the steel gear that works with my cam. Never changed one before, any tricks things I should be looking for? or pretty much straight forward?

Anyone ever done or heard of this? about to button up the rest of my 357 & someone mentioned painting or coating the underside of the intake, would help with keeping air/fuel mix a little cooler/ heat issues?
