Chevrolet had a "Custom" package that was right out of the factory. Like the Impala Custom, and Monte Carlo Custom Package in 1972. :D My 1972 Monte is not a factory "Custom" package, but it is highly Modified, the only thing Custom on the car was my ideas, like using the 71 SS rear end...

Go to a 12v switched source on the fuse box, that way you can easily unhook it if need be, and you don't have to cut into your harness. I have several things running to a source on my fuse panel, so you should be in good shape.

For the cost involved and the HP potential its got to be the 454! :wink: I have one and making close to 600 estimated HP.

You could remove the console completely and that way you wouldn't have to hack it up especially if its in good shape. :wink:
