i found this in the forums
viewtopic.php?f=8&t=5536&p=35797&hilit=spark+plug+gap#p35793
just checking to see if the .060 gap mentioned here will be ok for my 307 with non computer controlled carb and HEI distributor, also running headers (not sure if this would make a difference)
so any help...
I'm trying to locate a nice chrome pair of valve covers for my 86' regal. they will be going on a 307 and the heads have only 5 holes. so far i have either found them with too many holes, or for a v6 not a v8. if anyone knows someone selling some nice chrome valve covers, that would be nice...

So on this unusually beautiful day in south Florida my father and i went to pick up my 1976 Rochester Quadrajet carb and the, now very clean, original intake manifold for my 1986 regal, which i still think is pretty cool how they used an aluminum intake opposed to steel.
I do have a question...
got all the old sealer off the ac box on the firewall and need to know what to use to seal it up, in a post i read earlier some guy mentioned "butyl acetate caulk", but i would like a second opinion on this.
really could use some help here.
Thanks
