guys i still need some higher compression pistons. machinist (grandpa) got back to me, this motor was bored to 3.842 so i need some 3.840 pistons. would like to up the compression, maybe some flat tops. or what ever will get me to the 9.5:1 ratio, even 10:1 looking for a hyper set, not cast...

your right i dont know any thing about these motors, or what they are capable of. have never owned one till now, have had a nissan ka24 for a while and pretty much know that thing from top to bottom. but i know that 1hp per cubic inch is not impossible. clearly its not that hard to do with a lot...

well with the cam kit, new guides and retainers are in it, so there made for that cam. and yea i agree on the carb, i was just thinking of using since it is a bit cheaper then the others. well see if we can reach 250 - 300. not wanting any more than that, its only a daily i want to have fun...

heres the truck the motor is in. guna get it running and driving, lower it a few inches, and give it an old school touch of paint and interior. hopefully some day have a buick 350 in it. or a olds 350 rocket.

haha actually i have been in touch with that guy in river falls, and i told him tonight i want it. he said its got a b&m street/strip kit in it, and somewhere from a 2300 to a 2500 stall converter in it. he doesnt know exactly which one. but on monday he is getting it ready to go for thursday...
