These adjustable rear upper control arms for the 2000-2006 GM SUVs outperform the flexible, stamped steel arms and soft rubber bushings that come from the factory. They feature a Del-Sphere™ pivot joint on one end and fluted polyurethane bushings on the other end.

Eliminate wheel hop, increase traction, improve handling, and gain much more stable towing performance with an easy bolt on installation. The Del-Sphere™ pivot joint provides for 28 degrees of articulation, while the polyurethane bushings provide for a smooth ride on the street!

The adjustability feature allows for fore and aft centering of the rear axle housing after lowering or raising your ride height as well as pinion angle adjustments. They’re available powder coated in your choice of bright red or gloss black for a brilliant and durable finish.

Del-Sphere™ Pivot Joints:

The Spohn Performance Del-Sphere™ pivot joint solves the shortcomings of the factory rubber and aftermarket polyurethane bushings. Our Del-Sphere™ pivot joint incorporates a spherical ball which is surrounded by Delrin® bushing cups.

Think of the Del-Sphere™ pivot joint as a Delrin® bushed spherical rod end. After over a year of R&D testing here at Spohn Performance on a streetable spherical joint the Del-Sphere™ pivot joint is the final result. Designed and manufactured exclusively by Spohn Performance, we have taken street suspension performance to the next level.

Our Del-Sphere™ pivot joint features a one piece forged and heat treated chrome moly housing, a heat treated and chrome plated chrome moly spherical ball, Delrin® bushing cups, heat treated retainer washer and snap ring, heat treated and chrome plated chrome moly threaded adjuster ring, an external grease fitting, and a beautiful silver zinc plated housing finish.

The Delrin® bushing cups absorb shock and road noise so you get the quiet and smooth ride of a bushing as well as 28 degrees of rotation! Our Del-Sphere™ pivot joints will always ship to you fully assembled, however, we also offer an optional adjusting tool that will allow you to do two things.

First, you can disassemble the Del-Sphere™ pivot joint for cleaning, inspection, etc. Second, you can adjust the amount of tension on the spherical ball. The amount of tension can be easily adjusted by using our optional adjustment tool to tighten or loosen the end retainer ring.

What that means is if over time and miles the tolerances open up you can simply re-adjust the retainer ring and have your pivot joint as tight as it was the day it was brand new. We doubt you’ll ever need to replace the Delrin® bushing cups, but they certainly can be. Unlike a spherical rod end, the Del-Sphere™ pivot joint is 100% rebuildable.

A-arms are one of the most important, yet overlooked suspension components. They are the direct link between the front wheels and the chassis. Any deflection causes a change in alignment, which results in poor performance and driving feel. Fabricated from heavy-duty 1.25-inch and 1.500-inch, 0.095-inch wall DOM tubing with laser-cut, CNC-formed plate steel braces for extra strength, deflection is eliminated with A-arms from BMR Suspension. BMRÃ¢_x0080__x0099_s AA030 Upper and Lower A-arms are fitted with heavy-duty ball joints and greasable, 95-durometer bushings add a solid, more responsive feel over the stock rubber bushings. BMRÃ¢_x0080__x0099_s bushings are internally fluted, which allows grease to evenly coat the inner sleeve. These flutes also direct grease to the outer edge of the bushing, keeping the thrust surface lubricated. This efficient lubrication ensures quiet, reliable operation over the life of the bushings.

BMRÃ¢_x0080__x0099_s AA030 Upper and Lower A-arms eliminate A-arm deflection, greatly improving steering feel and response in normal and performance driving situations. DESCRIPTION:

Don’t reuse old rusty bolts when installing aftermarket control arms when you can replace them with new ones. Our kit includes new high grade hardware for installing your new upper and lower A-Arms. Kit includes Grade 10.9 bolts, flat washers and nylon lock nuts. All hardware is zinc coated to prevent corrosion while adding a great look to your installation. Hardware kit will work on UMI A-Arms, factory A-Arms and many other brands.
