so i bought a roller 78 malibu, i am planning on putting a 496 rat motor in it with the 400 turbo w transbrake. i have the hooker headers and the correct crossmember, i just dont know , do i use the exsisting fram mounts with engine clamshell or is there something stronger that i can use? thank...- 1300gsxr

New project 2WD 1 Ton 454
New project. I've been looking for quite sometime for a pickup truck, parts getter, tow vehicle. Won the bid on a 2WD Chevy 1 Ton. 454 4L80E. Got it for a $475.00 bid, total was $880.54 out the door. What motor should I go with?
So I am still searching for a G body SS Monte Carlo but I am having trouble trying to decide what motor should I go about putting in it as well as trans.
