I'm trying to install a Forever Sharp steering wheel hub adapter on my 86 Monte Carlo. It seems as though the adapter won't fit far enough down on the splined center to allow for the spacer and nut to fit and complete the assembly. It also leaves a gap between the adapter and the steering...
