So Cal
I came across some 02 ss monte carlo seats front and back and i wanted to mount them in my 85 ss.. i heard a couple guys have done it before but they never mentioned if they used new bracket seat mount or made some new ones or what.. so i made a couple videos on how i did it using my g body seat brackets and mounted them on to my new seats....

Thanks for this post,im looking into doing something simular and this helps ,love to see them in and how the back seat fits, thats what i was wondering on mine how the back seat would fit ,great score if you got them all for 100 to.

they will work with the split bench seats brackets also.... and they are very comfortable..

Thank you for the video! I have a black set that I going to get someone to transfer for me but after the video I will do it myself. What fabrication was necessary for the back seat?

Man glad you posted this I was just about to create my own topic this helps a lot!!!

ok update on the seats.. i finally got my ss back so i could do some fitting of the seats.. When i measured front to back everything was fine but from side to side they were a lil off. measuring the holes from front left to front ride on the seats were 15inches.... measuring the old seats from center of hole to hole was 13 1/2 inches... so i had to bring in the rails in on each side to have it line up correctly... i just end up drilling new hole in the bottom of seat on each side.. and because of the seats are a lil wider than the og bucket seats im going to have to trim some of the plistic side covers to have it set right. i will make a video shortly to show you what i am talking about.. i guess there is a lil more work to it than i originally had thought but with out having my ss to test fit, but still no welding or making any brackets just drilling some new holes in the seat bottom to bring in the rails a lil...
