About as far removed from a G Body as they come, this is the car I've been tinkering with for the past little while. Don't hate on it just yet, it was built in Illinois, so it's technically a domestic, right? 😛
It's a six speed 3.8 (231) that I'm more or less building for drag. Got a lot put into the car like full bolt-ons, a 94 octane tune and some drivetrain stuff. Last year it put down 280whp/254ft.lbs on a hub dyno. Nothing too crazy but still respectable for an NA V6. About a month or so ago the transmission came down and we put in an LSD, as well as mounted a six puck sprung clutch and lightweight flywheel. Bit of a pain to drive around town but it gets off the line fairly quick. Hoping to break into the 12s but haven't been having much luck with the street tires. If it makes it to the winter, strongly thinking about going turbo.
