Ok I was wondering about putting 1.6 rockers on some vortec heads I'm goin to get. The motor is a stock 89 l98 bottom end with the stock cam. I know there's a way to multiply the cams lift (which i dont know) with the rockers or it's something like that, does anyone know for sure if this will work or how to add it up so I'll know the lift. Stock vortec heads can only go to about 470 lift so as long as it doesn't go over that I'm good right??

A 1.6 ratio rocker is 10% larger than a 1.5 if you want to get close you can take you advertised lift (advertised with a 1.5 ratio rocker) divide by 1.5 and then multiply by 1.6 and that should give you an advertised lift with a 1.6 ratio rocker. hope that helps

Yea that does help me out thanks
