How much power will a g-body 10b axle stand. I've been trying to buy a wagon that comes with a 10b that needs rebuilt. With the price of gears, a Detroit True-Trac, and all that, I'll have a good chunk of change in it. With the plans being a manual transmission swap and around 450hp, would that money be better spent towards a 9in bolt in housing? I have a big bearings center section already, would just need the gears, setup kit an True-Trac for it.

Suggestions?

My vote would be the 9 inch all the way 😀
