Anyone interested in going this route without doing too much fab work, you can find a lot of this stuff at www.flynbye.com

They have complete kits and individual pieces. I'm eyeballing the hubs and brackets.

Great link, they're one of the places that I found that makes everything you need. They also do the 12" f-body rotor with better Vette calipers conversion. Looks cool! Their site said they're moving locations, hope they're up and running again soon...

Very nice. I have LS1 brakes in the rear on my cutlass. I'm pretty sure I'll be doing this too, so I'll have LS1 disc brakes all around.

Ben, are you just upgrading the front brakes at this time? Are you planning on installing the LS1 brakes on the rear of the car? Do you have to make any changes in the type of master cylinder or proportioning valve that is on the car? Just being curious, thanks.

Be careful with Fynbye. He is a super nice and honest guy, but its a one man show. When he started his products were (still are) great in terms of quality and function.

BUT....he is a one man show and has had difficulty delivering on time. All this was true in 2009, it may have gotten worse or better im not sure. But back then you were counting on minimum 3months wait time. There were exceptions though.

Good parts, nice guy, good customerr service if you can get to him on the phone, but alot of issues with delivery. Do your homework before buying there. For any of you who own turd-gen F-bodies, check out thirdgen.org and search for flynbye there.

so if I was to cut down my rotor. make the braket I could do the same?

you also have to enlarge 2 of the 3 dust shild bolt holes and tap a new thread pattern into those new larger holes
