I just picked up a edelbrock 1406 from a fellow forum member, and have questions on the setup:

Where do I hook up the: Vacuum advance on dist. and all other vacuum ports on the manifold/carb & the PCV port

And what do I do with the hard lines coming from the pass. side of the manifold right next to the carb... (Olds 350 motor)

A picture would be awesome!!

Dang... Theres gotta be somebody out there with an edelrock carb!!

The small port on the passenger side should be you're ported vacuum for the distributor. If any doubt it should sit a little higher than the small port on the driver side. Then I used the larger front port for the pcv valve and the rear port(might be plugged) for the power brakes.

ok, got all of what you said except the PCV... What exactly is that? Does it go to like thevalve cover breather hole???

Also, in watching the install videos on Utube, they said to hook up that small D.S. port to the transmission vac.. What do I do with the vacuum holes on the manifold then??
