If I can remember right, you should have a purple 14 or 12 gauge wire that will go to the S terminal on the solenoid & if your using a points distributor a yellow resistor 16 gauge wire that goes from the coil to the R terminal on the solenoid. The points coil power wire should be a red 16 gauge wire. Going with HEI you'll need a 14 gauge wire for power tied into the ignition fuse.
