I have an opportunity to buy a 1978 lemans with factory bucket seats floor shift and a chevy 305 from the factory. The car has 56,000 original miles and is in excellent cond, being garaged for most of its life. Do you think $3000 is a fair price for it?

If the description you give is accurate, that's a pretty fair price I suppose. I'd give the undercarriage and frame a good look though. I've seen plenty of cars that look good until you get underneath them.

I agree with g-body_vet sounds like a good deal but check out that frame!!
