Genuine barn find with 3 owners from new (including myself) Current Ohio title in my name. Was barn stored with interior removed from approximately 1995 - 2023 99,000 miles currently on the odometer.
Body is in great shape, with no filler or repairs that I am aware of.
Documentation includes original Pontiac Build Sheet, new vehicle inspection and 1980 title as well as Chiltern workshop manual.
Car runs and drives well in my opinion. Wipers work fine, most of the interior has been reinstalled, and electric windows function well. No cracks on the dashboard pad and no tears in the seats. A brand new headliner and Fischer door kick panels have been fitted. The only issue I can see with it is the new gas tank is leaking. I have bought the sealant to put on the tank.
The car is on four new rims with new whitewall tires. Original rims come with the car or I can recycle them.
The following work has been carried out or parts obtained and documentation comes with the vehicle:
New gas tank
New Headliner
2 x New rear frame rails (one fitted)
NOS Exhaust
Brakes (rotors / calipers / pads)
New Battery
New Alternator
New Drive belt
New Shocks
New Radiator
New F springs / Sway bar links
New window sweeps
Set of four vehicle correct hub caps, and two spare vehicle correct hub caps..
Rear trim to replace cracked trim in between body and bumpers.
Full length car cover.
The transmission has been completely rebuilt and shifts smoothly.
I have kept everything original. There are still parking permits from the 1980s on the car. The original 8 track / CB Radio is still fitted (needs repaired)
This is a time warp vehicle. My intention was to finish this and use as a daily driver but my circumstances are changing so need to sell
If you are looking for a running restoration project where most of the heavy lifting has been completed, this is it.
I have over $8000 in the car so far, but only can find receipts for around $7400. I’m looking for $7000.
