I have owned this car since 1991. A little history .This was my wife (girlfriend at the time......) and my date car.Boy was she hot.I fell in love with both.So I decided to save this auto.It has every option but rear defrog .It was and still is rust free. Probably because it came from cali. originally But I made the mistake of " freshing " it up.Here it come's ,yep, full body off resto.Doing the 12 "rotor swap ,hothkis supension , complete drive train swap from 1996 trans am LT1/auto . Now get to my point.I had a pleasant surprise it has an alum. hood. Is this rare?

Aluminum hoods are quite rare. They seems to show up more frequently on the '78-'80 models than the '81-'87 ones.
