Beautiful Regal bro. Looks brand new, I don't blame the one dude on the 'Tube asking if you're looking to sell it.

To all the Maaco haters, you get what you pay for. This guy clearly paid well over a G just for his paint alone (unless he knows somebody), and it looks better than factory, from Maaco. I have had the local Maaco do bodywork and paint for me (includind my Cutlass), and it looks superb. Many people use "maaco paintjob" as a synonym for a shitty paintjob, but those are the cheap people talking about the cheapest paint service. If you pay $300 for your paintjob anywhere, it'll look like sh*t. But if you come to Maaco and drop 1 to 2 Gs (depending on how well you know them), your paint will be as nice as in the vid.

Thanks ! Nope ... "I know no-one" (at Maaco). I was getting depressed with other Peoples "empty promises" (At Bodyshops) etc ... *and their unwillingness to so much as extend me the courtesy of a return phone call! ("will call ya when we can take it on") MY *ss !! If you say your gonna do it ... THEN DO IT !

Here's a place to start: "JUST SAY "NO" ! "I don't want the job" ! (the Bodyshops). WHY must I beg ? *I don't want something for nothing* ... I NEVER Cried "poor"... Me? "I'll beg no-one".

Enter Maaco, I went there on a whim, (fully expecting a bunch of screw up rejects) ... "I soon learned I was 100% WRONG". These Gentleman were as enthusiastic as I was / am about the car and said "will make you proud" ! .... *Put up or shut up*
I made my meaning plain that I have a high expectation: *"The owner remarked that HIS was even higher". After that, I shut up and enjoyed going their almost daily to watch it's progress, take pictures / movies and enjoy it all.

Theres already a thread about how awesome it is over there. I cant believe you kept all the thermac switches and emissions equipment. When I swaped my carb turbo into my cutlass I couldnt have imagined keeping all the hoses straight. I ended up putting a bigger cam, better exhaust and ripping all the emmissions stuff off mine to make it look clean, but yours looks just jaw dropping factory.

Beautiful car! I'm a big fan of the 78-80 B.O.P. stuff and that's clean. It's not easy finding one with the buckets/console, let alone without a vinyl top. Does your car have the aluminum core support and/or decklid?
