:?: Hey i am trying to get a 3-5 inch lift on my elky but i can not find any front springs that will fit the diameter i am pretty sure the outside is 7.5"
i have looked into custome springs but not trying to drop that much money. i am planing on puting quarter leafs in the rear. Any body have any suggestions for front lift?

Welcome! Not many people on this forum lift their cars but I'm sure somebody will have an answer for you.

i have some brand new 2" "lift cups" for front and rear? 30.00 shipped.pm me if interested.

Thanks guys🙂 i know the basics on what i need just seeing if anybody know more about it than me and can help see if there is an easier way lol

why the **** would you lift it for,,im guessing to put ridiculous size wheels on it,,take the body off and put it on a k5 blazer frame,,you will have more options and tougher suspension to withstand the abuse you will subject it to.. 😀

A neighbor of mine is going lifted. In the front, there are lift spindles. Factory diesel springs can give some more lift to that if needed. Out back my neighbor has I think Monroe shocks that look like coil overs Alongside the factory springs.

There are also body lift kits which lift the body off the frame 3". Theses places advertise in Rides magazine.

OR------ Be a real badass & modify the body to tuck 26's.

Lifted elky's are cool in their own way. Tires like in the example pictured are probably 30 to 33" tall by approx. 10 w. The 3" body bushing kit would definitely help in your case without affecting ride quality ,any more could come from springs & lifted spindles. I'd lift the body first, then go from there.

Also if you're going to use a reasonably amount of suspension travel, Enlarging inner wheelwells should be done.

I was also thinking of putting a suburban engine or something like it in my elky would that work and if so how big do you think i could go???

thank for the help guys!!
