1983 Cutlass (Light Switch)

Whats up everybody,

Have a quick question, my headlight switch works fine when i turn it on and off, however when the lights are on, If I open the drivers door the switch makes a loud buzzing sound. The sound remains on while the door is open, if i turn the switch off the sound goes off but if not it will remain buzzing. It is a very loud annoying sound.

Any suggestions???

that is a factory sound. factory put it there so that you don't leave your lights on and kill the battery. 😀

Wow, That shows you that I know nothing about these cars. LOL I thought something was definitely wrong! I was already looking into replacing the switch.

new switch would have done the same thing.
