I came across this cutlass today so I bought it. It's a roller with pretty bad rust issues in the floor board and I am not sure on undertaking another job after I just finished mine. THe interior is kind of rough as well but there are plenty of salvagable parts. This car has TWO ALUMINUM bumper supports!!! The doors are pretty sold with the normal rust which is slighly less than normal.

So I need some opinions.

Keep the car and make another money pit, with divorce papers probably right behind it??

Keep the car as a test fit car for all the items we are procuring

Part it out, it has alot of good items in it.

do a mix of options 2 and 3.

use it as a Test fit mule and part out the things that will get in the way or are sellable. I need taillights for my 83 if you decide to part.

That is the way I am leaning Ken. I saw some 81-83 tail lights on ebay last night, were not too much in decent shape too.

Looks like a decent car, and floors are usually a relatively easy fix.
Depending on how much you want to spend on the drivetrain, it would make a good daily driver or even a drag car if you're into that...

I would part the car out unless you want a drag car.You could make money off the car from the looks of it.What shape are the cars from Ohio in? Are there losts of G bodys for sale? I like to start any build with as rust free a car as I can find, it is cheeper in the long run. That is were I have found the most time and money saved clean body and frame. If this is as good as it gets in Ohio area for rust free cars you might want to flip it.I think two many cars on the go and a wife are not a good like you posted, last thing I want is my cars to become like work.Good Luck nice find

I also have an 81 that is near restored and finished so this one is going to be parted. It's in the for sale forum!
