Did the 83 H/O come with an aluminum front bumper or was it steel?

The outer bumper themselves were all steel, whether it was chrome or painted.

It's the reinforcement behind it that could be had in either steel or aluminum.

My '85 442 had both front and rear aluminum reinforcements from the factory.

he is absolutily right.outer bumper was steel.the rear reinforcement on my 83 H/O is aluminum.
