I am fixing up my H/O interior.I would like to keep it as original as possible. but I like the two tone look on the seats. Will that hurt the originality and value of my H/O.

Short and obvious answer is yes.
These cars don't command any value unless 100% original and in excellent condition.
Collectors don't want someone elses preference... and the only person that is gonna give you what you're car is worth is a collector.

There is a fresh 1983 Hurst Olds a friend of mine is selling, bunch of NOS parts, new paint and stripes however the interior was done with similar material that isn't too close. He's been struggling to sell it for $6500 and it's worth much more. If it had a correct interior it probably would sell... the seats and door panels are not correct in pattern, color is close though. It also has a 403 and chrome grilles which is probably hurting the sale as well.

Here's a car worth evey penny, this is what people look for:

Few more nice unmolested survivors but they are not T-top cars which hurt the value:

yes it would. but u can always buy another set of buckets and mod them the way u want them and set the original seats to the side until u sell it.

yeah I kind of knew that but need an experts opinion. Thanks
