Hello All,

New to the forum and the Gbody scene at that. I recently sold my truck to my son and was looking for something different to work on when he sent me a pic of the wagon below. He thought he was being funny but when I saw it, I went and bought it. The car is a 1983 Malibu Wagon and started off as a fire dept car before I bought it. Nothing really special about the car other than the power vent windows that still work. The interior is in bad shape but not so bad that I dont drive. The car came with a new SBC 350 that has a .480 lift cam so it talks a little and a newer TH350. Since I have had the car I have completely rebuilt the front end and I mean completely, had a Ford 9" with 31 spline axles installed with disc brakes. The whole car has been dropped a little over 2" with Nova wheels.

Still a lot of work to do but I love driving the car and the looks it gets right now, cant wait till its done.

I'm from Eastern NC and always looking parts, help, advice hit me up.

Thanks,
Poppa

Im a wagon guy that just joined recently as well. Nice looking car. Your car sounds pretty similar to mine. Red, 350, 9 inch with 31 spline axles. Only difference is mine is a 4 speed.

I’d like to see what mine will run in the 1/4 mile but I’m afraid of breaking the stock Saginaw so it’s just going to be a cruiser for the time being.

Nice looking wagon! I love the long roofs too! 1983 355, turbo 350, lowered with Belltec all the way around, 16" ZQ8 S10 wheels
Nice selection of G-body cars. Would you mind posting some more pics of your wagon? Oh, btw, in case I never welcomed you to the site, welcome aboard.
