1984 cutlass calais project

I'm new to engine swapping, I took a v6 and transmission out of 1984 cutlass....the engine was badand i want to put a bigger motor in it any suggestions on what size...and will that transmission fit on a 350 olds engine...my cousin says it does but i want to be for sure ......

It will bolt up. Get the 307 frame mounts too.

Ok, thanks , My problem now is how do i get the torque converter off. I'm having hell of a time getting it off. and what should i keep off the V6....

1st is the motor out of the car? If not...put the car in neutral and turn to the closest bolt that you want to take off than put the car in park and do the normal wrenching thing

If the motor is out and transmission of also...get a pry par or something long in hard(no pun or joke intended) and put in a hole(no....pun or joke GOSH) and get a wrench and go to work on those bolts and your done
