Hi all new to the forums and ive been reading around and searching.....havent found any information on what im looking for though....Im curious as to what Angel Eye headlights would look like on my car or if it has even been done before?? lmk thanks

I remember seeing a set on a white Monte SS and it looked pretty good. Can't remember if he's on this site.

I wouldn't mind doing it to mine but I have Caprice euro headlights on my 86 Grand Prix and they don't make it for them.

Wasn't very hard at all. I cut out the headlight bucket of the header panel and trimmed the center part of the bezel to hold it in place. Mind you, you can't use the adjustment screws and brackets of the Caprice lights as it won't fit. Make sure you cut a little bit at a time until the light fits snug in the bucket. I used cedar shims to aim my lights properly as I cut a little bit too much the first time I did it. Also make sure you get the bulb harness so you can splice into your existing headlight wiring.

I did this conversion again on my next Grand Prix after I got rid of this one and I didn't need to used shims to aim the lights. I will be upgrading to HIDs later on when I put the car back on the road.

Those lights look good. What year of Caprice and what parts are needed? Are those fender vents the paste on kind or they grafted on?

Thanks. The lights are from the 87-90 Caprice. The only thing pasted on are the Lund hood scoops...lol...BUT I made them functional by cutting the hood open and making an opening behind the screen for a ram air effect. Made a huge difference at night with the cooler air.

The fender vents are from the GNX which I found on eBay and I had to cut the fenders to mount them.

Thats a upgrade i can keep my eyes open for when i go junkyarding for the lights. As for the vents i was thinking of getting some vents out of a trans am.....even though those GN vents looks good.

I was very close to using the vents from a 77-81 Trans Am as I had a Trans Am shaker hood scoop but when I went to the junkyard the TA only had one side. I remember seeing a pic somewhere of a GP with the TA vents and it looked good.

There were only two GPs in Toronto that had the GNX vents on a GP and I owned both. The gold one I sold a few years ago. I'm also currently in the process of molding a dragon nose hood scoop to my GP hood which is the same style as the TA WS6 Ram Air hood. Hopefully the weather gets warmer so I can finish it.
