1984 Hurst Olds Production Information

Recently acquired some rare original documentation dated from 10-12-83 from Oldsmobile regarding the production and schematics showing what GM did and what was Cars and Concepts responsibility for '84 H/O's.

Here are the Lansing plant's production schedule for '84 H/O's:
Week of 11/4, 4 lead units built
Week of 11/21, 78 (26 per day for 3 days)
11/28, 210 (35 per day for 6 days)
12-05, 210 (35 per day for 6 days)
12/12, 175 (35 per day for 5 days)
12/19, 175 (35 per day for 5 days)
December total 848
January 1200 (50 per day for 24 days)
February 1200 (50 per day for 24 days)
March 252 (50/day - build out at Olds 3/7 -- C&C about 3/10)
Total 3500

Interesting numbers. I think my invoice says something about 11/27 or something of that nature but that could be shipping info or end of production week. I dunno. I'd have to go back and look. I've got #19 so it really had to be in the first day of regular production.

One other note, this information is just the production plan, and as any Engineer knows... nothing goes as planned.
Build dates and sequence numbers from C&C do not coincide all the time.
For instance, it's documented that the last Hurst (GM #3500) was built on 3-5-84 and had a bunch of signatures under the hood pad from the GM plant workers but was only #3318 by C&C and dated 3-21-84 so the list above is just an estimate, (proposed production plan by GM).
