Hi folks,
I have a 1985 442, learning how to diagnose my A/C system, but have a question about a part that isn’t depicted or mentioned in the original service manual.
Had the system retrofitted to R-134 several years ago and I’m wondering if this part mounted next to the compressor was added at that time. It looks like a dryer/accumulator but not sure. Are there two?
Thanks for your help!

In fact, your entire hose assembly is OEM factory supplied. The brass 90 attached to the muffler is for monitoring the high side pressure with the gage. It's coming off the high pressure side of the compressor to the condenser. The other fatter hose is the suction side from the accumulator.

EDIT: The brass 90 itself is not factory since it's for 134a, just wanted to clarify.
