1985 Cutlass Bumper Trim

I'm looking into restoring/custom building a 1985 Cutlass, In looking at the bumpers I noticed the "chrome" trim in the plastic bumper cover is cracked pealing and looks bad. Is there any way to replace this that anyone had tried???

I've used the 3M stuff before and plan on using it again on my 442.
Some say it doesn't look the same, but it's close enough for me...

I got the chrome trim from pep boys Its made by 3m good stuff to use.
