I just purchased a 350 rocket and had it rebuilt. What problems can i expect going from the 3.8 to the 350 rocket. if anybody has done this swap please comment and add info to which parts need to be kept and which parts to throw away or what parts i need to get. please help me please i want my car to be up and running in at least 2 weeks. my car has been covered for 2 years since i blew my 3.8 i miss my cutlass and the streets do too lol

It would be best to get a 307 engine harness so you don't need to cut up any wires, it bolts in at the firewall. You will probably need to get a radiator for a 307 powered g body, and I think you will need the radiator hold down also. You will need a 307 fan shroud. Not sure what side the battery is on a v6 car, but it needs to be on the drivers side. The fuel line is on the wrong side. What I did is connected a short piece of rubber line from the old fuel line and connected it to a metal line running across the front crossmember to the other side. You will also need the 307 frame mounts and motor mounts. You can not buy the frame mounts new, so you will have to either buy them from someone or pull them from a car. It would be best to get all matching accessory brackets and pulleys from a single engine if you don't already have them. Also make sure to take the water pump also.

I think I covered everything, someone chime in if I missed anything or something is wrong.

I would start looking for the 307 frame mounts first. Post a wanted ad on here to see if anyone has a set laying around.
