Madisonville, TX
1986 Buick Regal Limited - Grand National "Clone"; less than 1500 miles on 454ci crate motor w/430 HP. 850 Holley DP carb, mild cam, 64K miles on body. AT, PW, tilt, cruise, AM/FM cass., PA, tinted windows, roll cage, custom interior, motor and doghouse detailed and painted, trunk is powder coated, front has been lowered 2", front spoiler, bumpers painted to match the 3 layers of candy apple red paint w/ a poly coat finish, custom hood, American Racing rims w/new tires, recent shocks/springs, grand national emblems, custom flow master exhaust system, electric cooling fan, aftermarket gauges, and more! Street legal and show quality - multiple trophy winner. New battery, recent tune up and oil change. Over 20K invested, must sacrifice.

She starts right up and idles effortlessly. As she sits she’s a great street cruiser/show car. With a few minor “tweaks” she’d be a great drag/bracket racer. I am only selling her because I recently bought a house that needs work, don’t want to let her go but need the $ for repairs. Has a clear TX title and has passed inspection. Reserve price is half the value of the car...you won't be disappointed!

P.S. Known issues: The headlights work but "blink"; I suspect a loose connection or the switch might need replaced. The A/C compressor is new but not hooked up. There is only a seat belt for the driver at present. There is a small scratch at the front of the hood scoop - only noticeable up close (see pic). Nitrous tank is mounted but has NEVER been hooked up.

$8000 obo

Hey

Can anyone tell me what the bolt pattern is for this car? One source says 5x115 and another says 5x120.7. I currently have 15" American Racing Torque Thrust D's on her. But am considering 18-20" chromes. Any ideas on wheel/tire combos? I kinda like the Boss 328 rims but am open to suggestions.

Wow, this is like the Buick version of my car! Amazing. Clean car man, what rear end do you have and trans?

As far as I can tell, rear end is stock and the transmission is the stock TH200/4 with a trans cooler and shift kit. What kind of upgrades are available if I decide to keep it?

The upgrades for these G body's are endless bro.........You can go anywhere from where your at to a th400,th 350, 700r4(My Choice) and the four speeds..........as far as the rear, you can get an 8.5" rear from a GN, T-Type or olds 442 and that will surely beef up your rear. You can also get a 12 bolt rear from the years 66'-72' A Body cars and they will bolt up with very minor mods like 12 bolt swap kit from UMI Performance or Iceman Racing, this kit gives you adjustable upper and boxed lower control arms......I also went with the 12 bolt.... Or you could even put a 9" ford rear in her......but "Keep Your GM Car all GM " JMO 8) Welcome to the site. BTW, sweet ride of yours :!:

Thanks man, I really need to get her up on a lift and identify everything properly. I pretty much bought the car as she sits 4 yrs ago and dont have alot of details. OK, I am gonna tackle the headlight issue....anyone have this problem (headlights blinking on/off) or is it just a bad switch - loose wires?
