Hey there guys , brand new here , just bought a 1987 Oldsmobile Cutlass Salon , with 55000 original miles about a month ago . Lots of work to do on the body but not to bad , some hole in the trunk , driver side door is rusted too but nothing too scary. Frame is very nice and solide everywhere thats all I needed. Thats my 6th GM so far , and I want to go on a full restauration to near stock condition exept for some little modifications, lets say dual exaust, and 15 inches oldsmobile rally wheels. Right the car got the original 14". It got the 307 v8 with the 200 , and got the posi from factory ( thank god ) AC is STILL on R12 and blow cool air. Full electronic sunroof, working, windows , and doors locks, tach , floor shifter and of course 1987 only eurostyle headlights. I think the only thing different from a 442 his t-top option, and dual exaust , correct me if im wrong 🙂 . Anyways is the only pic I got , in the dark :S

thanks guys tell what you think and you got some set of 15 inch rally wheels somewhere hanging around , tell me 🙂

Welcome. You should have a 200-4R overdrive transmission. Nice car, great platform to do something cool with. Some differences between it and the 87 442 would be 8.5 rear with 3.73s, HD (f-41) front & rear sway bars, stiffer springs, faster ratio steering, 120mph speedo, different sh*t points etc in transmission as well as wot up shift into overdrive.
