Hello everyone. I have a 1988 cutlass supreme with the olds 307. I was wondering if anyone knows how to take the carb off computer. I want to install a non computer carb. Ive been told this can be done but I just need some advice on how to do it. Any info would be greatly appericiated. Thank you.

a non computer controlled carb is needed along with a Olds non computer controlled distributor... why are you trying to take it off? I don't think it will add a whole lot of HP. I know it will clean up the engine bay, though technically it's illegal according to federal laws. what are your plans?
Well for now I am trying to just get it on the road. My truck is down and will be for a while. The carb thats on there is no good. I have a distributer thats non computer controlled I am trying to figure out the wiring after I remove the old one. As for the laws I dont thank I will have any issues as I dont have to pass emissions where I live. But once my truck is back up I plan doing a big block build on it. Any info would be very helpful.
