Is this for a RWD Olds?

If so, there is no fuel pump relay since they use a mechanical pump.

Yeah and they're (Autozone) full of crap. They list the same relay fitting a 1988 FWD fuel injected car.

You have a mechanical pump, and you don't have a relay. Just look at your engine. The fuel pump is on the passenger side just to the left of the water pump if looking at the engine from the front. It sits under the A/C compressor and brackets.

Again, if you have a MECHANICAL pump, you DO NOT have a relay. It's that simple. No matter what the parts places say.

So the question is, what engine do you have in the car? Does it have a carb? Does it have a mechanical pump?

What is the problem with the car that makes you think you need to replace a relay?

ROTFLMAO!!!!!

307 i replace my fuel pump and check my lines and everything but when i start my car it keep turning off but if i put starter fuel in it ,it run a about a min or two

Sounds like a carb issue then or you got a faulty pump. He is right, carbed gbodys had mechanical pumps, therefore no relay. That is for a fuel injected car and goes in the fuse box! The reason that's showing up on their computer is because most 88 Cutlass' were Fwd, fuel inj. If i had an '88 I would just tell them a '87 cutlass, you'll get the parts u need without the mix up. I bet you can't get a fuel relay to come up for a '87 cutlass!
