ok the last time i tried these i did not get my answer or i just asked the wrong question so here it is WILL I NOTICE THE DEFERENCE BETWEEN 2.14 AND 3.73 GEARS? :?: the car is a 1982 olds cutlass 383 sbc 9.7 comp 224/224 cam 465/465 lift vortec heads 750 holley th350 trans B&M shift kit on 20 inch iroc rims the reason i mentioned the rims is because i heard the rims make a deference. do they :!:

the bigger the diameter of the tire, the more it takes away from the ratio. So it will actually be less than 373, there should be a ca;culator or something on the interwebz. try google.

yes, you will, try running smaller rims like 15s, it'll be a world of difference with 373s, but even with 20s it should still move like never before.

ME?

Major difference. I went from 2.29 to 3.23 and it was a big holeshot upgrade. I wouldn't go near 3.73's without an overdrive transmission, because you'll be pulling 3K rpm on the highway easy.

just saw your ad. I'll trade you for the shiftkit or converter. I'm in PA, which is quite a drive to cali or florida, (forgot where u are)
