Will be 20 years tomorrow, wedding anniversary. My husband Bobby and I,been a good long time together with two sons happy together.Bobby is a great step father to my daughter whom is 24 from a previous relationship,Her dad is in and out of her life and sees Bobby as a great father like figure.Met in 1997 in college in the same class, steering and suspension. One thing he loved on the spot was my Irish accent, told him I am originally from Ireland.Started dating after that 1997 to 1999.Then on January 1st 2000,he got on one knee and proposed to me,both were 21 at the time.We were at his parent's place celebrating New Years Eve when this happened. The wedding,we were 22 at the time when we got married,at his parent's church they go to.Happiest days were finding out I was pregnant with both of our sons whom are 17 and 15.Plus we work together, own our auto repair shop together. He knows no one touches my flag of Ireland on top of the wall in my work area.Getting together with family and friends. My family likes him and his family likes me.Bobby knows me very well, one is Killian's Irish Red is my favorite beer in bottles. He was smart enough to see I was running out and bought me some more last night,he had to get more beer also.We both credit our good communication skills to this long marriage.I do let him get away with it when he says this, yes dear which are his 2 favorite words to say

Congratulations , the yes dear is our way of compromise when we don’t want to. I went through 2 marriages before I found the right lady for me. March will be 29 years for us being together. It REALLY HELPS being friends, especially since we’ve been empty neaters for the last 11 years.

It did go great and and shown all the pictures on a slide of the wedding 20 years ago.Made me tear up,it was the last time I was with my grand parents on my mom's side. Both passed 2 weeks after we got married.Had a few photos of them taken with us.An updated photo of the family with my husband,2 sons, daughter and I taken together.Bobby brought up how we met and knew I was the one for him and he got it right saying this:
Lisa,I have put up with you for 20 years and will get more years with you.We have two sons together we have been raising together.Your are also a great friend in my life and my life changed in a very positive way when I first met you.It was in 1997 when we first met in college, steering and suspension class.First thing I loved was your Irish accent on the spot.We sat across each other in that class. You didn't want to talk to me at first and finally did.I was single with no one in my life and learned from you was you were a single mom of a year old daughter raising her on your own.Even told you your Irish accent is cool and told me thank you. Finally one day after class ended, asked you on a date and told me yes.Thinking about it,you are a great wife and mother.Would not know where I would be if I didn't meet you.One this day in 2000,Became your loving husband.Remember your step father walking you down the aisle to say I do giving you away.I will always love and support you and next is when you go for your breast cancer treatments caught early next month
Your husband Bobby
