GFs Jimmy turn signal flasher works but continually buzzes when the brake pedal is not pressed while car is on. Put foot on brake and the buzzing goes away. Tried a new flasher but that's not it.
Any thoughts? Thanks

Possible turn signal switch problem. The brake lights are run through the turn signal switch to integrate them together. You can try this mod or replace the turn signal switch. Get under the dash and unplug the turn signal switch and see if the buzzing stops.

Yes they can tic with the signal off. It started out intermittent clicking and then progressed to constant clicking.

Brass debris from the switch contacts gathers in the switch over time and leaks a tiny bit of voltage to the flasher, so it thinks it needs to flash, however, because the signal switch is off no lights actually get sent the signal.

After this mod your lights will work as OEM, signals flash and relay clicks. Hazard lights flash and relay clicks. Lights in the cluster flash as expected.
