I'd like to hear and or see from a few that have run 225-60-15 tires on their G-Body. I have a cutty that has the need to get rid of these white walls.
I'd be running 15x7 Outlaws with -6 offset which would equate to nearly 3-3/4- 4 inch BS
opt to go with the 235 60 15 BF i have 225 60 15 on the front and 275 50 15 and the back. i wish i would have went with the 235, the 225 does not have enough sidewall bludge.

You know I think the 225 on your car looks good to me, there is not too much sidewall buldge IMO. Why size wheel do you have 7? What I have to think about is the S-10 springs I have in the front have lowered me down an inch or so. The 235 may rub. Any issues with your tires rubbing?
I may ditch the whole thing and go with the 215-65-15 442 olds option size. I know that will fit.
I have 225/60/15's on the back of my olds. They aren't bad, but they are fairly narrow. Compared to the 215's on the front they look big, but I wish I had 255's. I only payed like $200 for 4 brand new tires so Im not complaining.

I'm running 225/75 15s on rally wheels from a '76-'77 Cutty (4" bs), with cargo springs. They ride great and sit maybe 1/8 away from the frame lol, they don't rub or anything though. I'd like to go wider, just don't have the budget for it. That would of course mean more expensive tires plus some spacers. Not the size you're looking at (they definitely won't fit on the front) but I figure it might help.
I second the 235/60/15 for the front. Near stock height for the performance gbodys just a little meatier. Plus odometer speedometer etc remain pretty much factory accurate. The 225/60/15 is just a little too short and small.
I'm running 245-60R-15's BFG 's mounted on 15 x 8 Corvette rally's on all 4 corners of my 88 Monte SS with only a very light rub at the front sway bar at full steering lock. While the 245's look OK ....the next set will be 255's
