Olds 350/403 . Can't go wrong. 😀

fuel line for olds and chevy are on the passenger side. battery moves from left to right to follow the starter. you'll need new upper radiator hose, possibly lower hose also. trans cooler lines should be able to make work. if running stock a/c, compressor moves from right to left and you'll need new condenser also.

i agree, if available. i swapped out my 260 with a 455, everything swapped over, except exh manifolds. found stock 455 manifolds and added exhaust. for a/c, 455's never came with an r4 compressor, so i modified the mounting brackets.

I seem to have good luck finding mid 70 Olds 350's in great shape for cheap. 76 and older are the good ones. They were better built than the SBC, in those years especially.

I'm actually in the process of doing this swap as well... Well a 68 Chevy 307 with 700r4 for now to get it rolling again but ganna do a different swap later but so far it's came along alright just have to move ur mounts forward make sure u have clearance that was my problem cuz Chevys mounts were twords the front as olds on the 260 in the center u can use the frame mounts I am anyways I have a 78 that had the same set up 260 with the th200 let me know of ur progress and what not

looking to seap the stock 260/th200 in my 78 cutlass to a chevy 350/th350 or 305 . will it swap with no mods to driveshaft or motor mounts ?
My swap from Buick v6/th200 to SBC/th350 was waaaay more involved than expected. The only break I caught was the batteries and starters where on the same side. Trans didnt match to stock xmember. Motor mounts took weeks to sort out. If I do it ever again it'll be olds to olds.

Get motor mounts for an SBC-equipped G-body(cheap at parts store), starter on opposite side of engine(move battery and cables), but a pretty easy swap still.

Mounts to frame was 86 Monte but couldn't find sh*t for block mounts. Ended finding some but engine seems to sit tilted *ss end down a tad...like the block mount is a little tall.
