I run 205/75x15 tire on my Cutlass. Searched in vein for 195/75 x 15 but no one has them in the U.S. anymore.

May have better luck on the other side of the pond.

Here is a copy of what I posted on another board.

"Car leaves straight and stays that way for the whole run.

Food for thought on the speed rating deal.

First this rating is for sustained speed and the heat build up that goes with it.

Using my car as an example, 10 flat @ 131mph.

My tires are R rated ( you be over 18 ) or 106 mph.

My 1/8 is 107 mph, so the rest of the run it is "above" the speed rating or about 3.7 seconds.

Figure combined with the run to the line and time to slow, it is above the rating for less then 10 seconds.

I doubt I will ever peal/overheat the tire.

My tires also have a load rating above the front weight of the car, not like VW tires."

Hope that helps.

Sorry, I was out sick most of the week.

The rims/tires are on the car but I think they are 15x4 by looking at them.

No, tubes.

They place I go also uses nitrogen instead of "air", it's supposed to hold pressure better.

Seems to work, I would not pay extra but since it was free....
