i was going to replace the rear main seal and i seen that had 2 different ones a rope one and a 2 pc rubber one. i need to change the rear main seal without removing crank etc, will the rubber ones fit?
When I rebuilt my 3.8 i tried using the rope seal that came with the kit I gave up on it. It was complete garbage. Fel pro stuff BTW. Got rubber one and it went 1000 times easier.
