started to work on my motor today, started on the heads. i started porting them got 2 exaust ports done.

350 30 over, got a lunati solid lift cam .519/.531 -- 259/268 @.50 adv 306/315 4.56 gears 906 vortech heads just have to find a vic jr intake for vortech heads

Looking good so far. I have pocket ported several sets of heads now. All I have done is knock all the casting flash out and smooth the ports. I have always been apprehensive about trying to gasket match a set. Too afraid of making a set of heads into a really heavy boat anchor from not doing it correctly. The only thing I don't like about porting is, after a while it gets tedious and fine metal shavings that get EVERY WHERE.
