I have a 85 cutlass I want to put a 93 tbi 350/700r auto out of a raodmaster. What should I save from the car? And can I use a low pressure ext. fuel pump? Any help...........Thanks

Well, it all depends on what you plan to do. Do you want the TBI, or will you run a more conventional carburetor instead?

Yes,I would like to keep the tbi. I'm in also in a lt1 gbody swap. This is for my two left hands son. Just want it to be fast and easy. So after saying all that,What would I need as far as parts off the roadmaster? Thanks for any and all help.

Get the pcm, engine wiring harness, fuel pump, emissions equipment. You will also need to change the part that the motor mounts bolt to, they are made for an Olds engine. Thats if yours has an Olds in it.

I think there should be one harness specifically for the engine/computer. You would need to get a factory service manual for that car, it will show you the different harnesses and locations. It will also have the wiring diagrams so you can see what you need to keep or get rid of. Definatly try your hardest not to cut wires if at all possible.

There should be someone else on here that knows more on exactly what you need, im not exactly sure on how the Caprice is setup.

I am doing the same thing I am using the fuel pump and sending unit from a 87 M/C V6 with TBI the fuel pump is the same for truck and cars with a 350.
