number 3 is what was already on my transmission number 1 is what i bought from the store. I'm trying to figure out if i need to replace number 1 with number 2 or replace it with 3 and be done with it, btw if you didn't know its a speedometer bullet

#3 is a reducer to make your speedometer right. #2 is missing rubber o ring thats why its leaking. #1 has o ring if it will replace #2 use it. If not find a o ring for #2.

sorry bout that i took the o ring off after i pulled it out it was leaking from the rectangle part dont know where at though it was kind of hard to find out where the leak was coming from. so do i need 3 at all

You can eliminate #3 then your speedometer will probably be off. #1 does not look like the right part should have threads on it for the cable. Also this is probably not where your leaking at. I would suspect rear seal or pan.

it does have threads to screw in the speedometer cable and i will change those tomorrow while its out anything else i should check while its out. thanks
