$4.50 per 100 LB. would be about right.

No wonder we can't find parts- this guy has them all!

I say good luck to him. I think this same guy has been trying to sell the 442 on E bay for some time now but there haven't been takers because the price has always been too high. Based on the guys attitude and the way the he wrote the ad it would seem that he intends to scrap everything out or sell the lot to another scrap yard....whatever.... IMO, it would be much better for the gbody community for him to sell off individual parts.

"dont think your going to pull up and buy one car for 1000.00 thats not happening all 39 or nothing in the sale is the 442 hurst olds 2+2 pontiac aero coupes t top and hard top cars. I will not deliver any of the cars you line up the shipping you pay the shipping fees cars will have to be paid for before they leave if you have any questions call or text"

Stupid people like this hinder another persons progress. Im not envying any one but who in the world us going to buy this junk pile when most of these cars have no engines, trans, or even diffs. They hold on to there pile with sentimental value and dont want to give it up but in the end he'll eventualy have to give it up one way or another. Good luck to him though.

Theoldsone, that is funny you bring up the part about having parts cars is hindering other people's projects. The person on ebay buys and sells parts also, among others on this site and others such as myself, O.D. Showtime, mick, turbo 6 and a few others. Personally I don't have as large of a collection of parts car as the person on ebay but do have a few. I don't agree with the price on ebay but I'm not doubting they are worth it as a package deal. How is the one person having some parts cars hindering another person's progress and is "stupid".

As OD Showtime pointed-out, he has a bunch of other listings -- heck, he's taken the time to set-up his own eBay store and has a bunch of user feedback -- so I think it's unfair to hint he's a hoarder ... I'm more inclined to think this particular listing is to just get rid of (in one shot) a group of cars he no longer thinks is profitable, vice continuing to part-out what he can albeit possibly infrequently

Forgive me for being a little too harsh HAha. Sure having parts cars isnt bad at all. And i did know he sells parts. But still i think that the fact he wants to sell the entire lot is sort of unnessary. It seems like he has licked most of these cars to the bone and is still trying to get $$$ for them. Lol

The price is too high because it completely fails to subtract the logistics of moving 39 cars in a row from it's final value and assumes that each body is worth at least $1100 a piece when in fact 3/4 g-bodies I owned paid less than $1,000 for better condition. The price is at least 30% too high. Only a retired truck driver would have the equipment required to move these vehicles just sitting his backyard. The 'dont think your going to show up with only $1,000 and leave with 1 car' thing is silly to someone like me who paid $1,000 or less for 3 different cars in better condition than anything he has pictured besides the white cutty / white aerocoupe perhaps. Anyway, I just thought it was really cool. Probably not any $ to be made and it would be a huge shame if this guy scraps all that instead of letting it go for something closer to $650 a piece so people who don't live in his immediate area could get a stab at it even. Whose going to pay $1,000 a car for 39 cars in a row unless they live nearby? I just don't see it happening best of luck to him though.
