ok i have a 200r4 in cutlass n someone want to sell me a 400 turbo long tube tran. what all need to be done for it to work in my 85 cutlass??? and will it be a good tran for my 330 old motor i have in it??

Don't buy it.

First of all, a TH-400 is overkill for a 330 V8.
Second, if you do get a TH-400, you want the short tail version, not the long one. It will bolt right up to the 200-4R crossmember, but you'll still need to have 1/2"-3/4" taken out of the driveshaft.

You'll be much happier keeping a 200-4R in it.

The th400 is heavy and factory strong. Its a better choice if you have a serious 330 and are going to use slicks a big stall converter and or a trans brake. If you plan to drive the car much as in other than the closest car show to your house have your 200-4R rebuilt by a shop that has had success in building them. I had great success with Lonnie at http://www.extremeautomatics.com.
