i heard of complications with driveshaft being cut of witch one will fit? also crossmember and mount modification.
what speedometer gear to use it needs rally guages. what else...

Yes, if you are using a 400 trans you will need a shorter driveshaft, if you are on a budget you can get yours shortened and rebalanced but I recommend having a custom one made with thicker metal and larger diameter and stronger ends.

If you have fabrication skills or know somebody that does you can modify your crossmember for the 400. I made a new mount for my 400 and then welded it on my existing crossmember and then I welded in 1/4" plate to box in the areas I cut out for exhaust clearance or you can by one of the aftermarket ones.

I actually have a ratio box I bought from a speedo shop that runs between 2 separate speedo cables that corrects the speed of my Autometer speedo so I'm not sure if there is a factory gear that will do that.
